“He gives strength to the weary and strengthens the powerless. Youths may faint and grow weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:29-31 HCSB

We live in a fast paced world. We can drive through. We can order online and get it in a day. Everything is hurried. So I don’t know about you, but waiting is not something I care to do.
I have learned however, that God doesn’t rush things. I have prayed to God and had my prayer answered very quickly and I have prayed to God and waited, and waited, and waited. God does things in His timing. I have also learned that while I wait, God works. I’m learning that this period of waiting serves a purpose. It’s a time for me to draw closer to God. It’s a time for me to trust in Him and His timing. But most importantly, it’s a time for me to be strengthened in His power. It’s a time for me to renew my strength.
So if you are in a situation where you are becoming battle weary, remember these words, “He gives strength to the weary”. He is using this time to build your strength, power, and endurance. If you feel powerless, have no fear. He will strengthen you.
So whatever you are facing, give it over to God, trust in Him, trust in His timing and have your strength renewed. In Him, you will find a strength and power that you did not think possible. You will also find that you can endure and yes, you can even wait and be okay. So have a great day and learn to enjoy the transformation that is taking place during the waiting period.
