“For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, who have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways.”

Proverbs is one of the three wisdom books of the Bible. Ecclesiastes and Job are the other two.
Solomon was considered to be very wise. The Bible tells us that he asked God for wisdom. We should do the same. When we develop a close relationship with God, through Bible reading and prayer we can gain Godly wisdom.
There is a great deal of evil and darkness in the world today. We must constantly be on guard so that we are not enticed to enter into the darkness. We must protect ourselves and be on guard against the evil in the world.
This scripture passage clearly tells us that wisdom will protect us from evil, wicked people. So remember when you pray, to pray for knowledge. Pray for the wisdom to discern God’s will. If we do this, we can have wisdom in our heart and the pleasant feeling that knowledge will bring to our soul.
So talk to God through prayer, hear Him through His word, the Bible. Draw near to God and ask for wisdom. Remember the Bible clearly tells us that if we ask we shall receive. Ask for and receive wisdom and have a great day!
