And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus . By His death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting Him. For our guilty consciences have sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.
I was thrilled to see my niece, Taylor, get baptized. She is beautiful inside and out and to watch her grow in the Lord is amazing. Seeing her take that step to make a public profession of faith and then submit to a believer’s baptism was overwhelming.
Beautiful people are often bold. They know that the world accepts what they do because they are beautiful Studies have been done about how beautiful people have many more advantages in the job field and social settings because of their looks. But this scripture passage tells us that you can be beautiful or ugly, young or old, and still bust right into heaven’s Most Holy Place. Now you may think that this refers to heaven, but remember there are Holy places here on earth. Heaven’s Most Holy Place can also refer to wherever you are if you are filled with the Holy Spirit. It can mean the place of God’s comfort, joy, peace, and rest.
Because God cleansed us with His blood, we no longer have to feel guilt and shame. We can feel beautiful and clean and just bust right in.
It kind of reminds me of one of those high priced restaurants where it is almost impossible to get a reservation and for a common person even with a reservation they may wait hours to be seated. Then you see someone of great importance come in and they immediately get whisked away to a table, no waiting. That’s how it is with us in God’s kingdom and His Most Holy Place. When we accept Christ as our savior, He washes us clean with His blood. We become filled with His Holy Spirit. We become one of those most important people as our names are written in the Lamb’s book of life and we are whisked away into heaven’s Most Holy Place. After all, we are a child of the King of Kings. We have to maintain a close relationship with Jesus Christ. But in doing so, we remain in His Most Holy Place.
When we speak of heaven’s Most Holy Place, we speak of the place where we are in close relationship with God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. We speak of the place where we find the peace that passes all understanding. We speak of the place where we find unspeakable joy. We speak of the place where we find comfort and rest.
So, today, my friend, if you have never entered into Heaven’s Most Holy Place, then I strongly encourage you to do so. You won’t be sorry you did. You will experience hard times, but you will feel God’s comforting presence and experience the kind of peace and joy that only He can give.
My prayer for you today is that you don’t delay in developing a close relationship with Jesus Christ. If you are unsure how to do this, you may contact me or speak with a Christian friend or pastor that can guide you through this process. God is waiting with open arms and you can just bust right on in there as a child of God who has been bought and cleansed by His blood!
Have a great day!
