Often times I find myself worrying about things that I have absolutely no control over.  If I have no control what good does it do for me to worry? It only serves as a distraction for me.  It tends to take my focus away from where it should be.

Matthew 6:33 tells us to “seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things should be added unto you”

Simply put, our job is to focus on God.  His job is to take care of our needs.  The reality of this frees us from worry.  God wants us to enjoy our lives, not spend our days wringing our hands and worrying about the future and things that we have absolutely no control over anyway.
